Jesse + Chase: Elizabeth City Wedding

Elizabeth City Wedding I am so so thrilled for Jesse and Chase. Jesse is one of my dear friends from college, and I could not be more excited for her and her new husband. They had their wedding and reception at Fountain of Life Church in Elizabeth City, NC. Both Chase and Jesse’s family are from the beach and Chase has been working for his family’s crabbing business since graduating college.

Y’all, this day was wonderful. Jesse wanted a garden theme for her big day, and I couldn’t believe the transformation the sanctuary and the fellowship hall underwent. There were so many people involved in the decorations and the food; it was so obvious how loved and supported these two are by their family and friends.

The ceremony was beautiful, especially with the beautiful backdrop they had. I’ve seen sand ceremonies and unity candles, but Jesse and Chase did something I’ve never seen before: they braided three cords. Two represent Jesse and Chase, and the other represents God as the foundation of their relationship.

I have to say, I LOVE these boots! I also adore Jesse’s dress. It’s perfect for a garden-themed wedding with it’s flowery lace overlay and POCKETS! Those were handy when Jesse needed some tissues during the emotional ceremony. There was a little land out behind the church where we were able to find a great spot for some wedding party and couple photos.

Jesse and Chase weren’t planning on doing any sort of first dance, so I’m pretty sure they were tricked into it near the end of the reception. They’ve got some good friends! The Baccus and Enterline families and friends did most of the work for this wedding so I don’t have a lot of vendors to share, but if you love Jesse’s dress it’s from David’s Bridal.
