Wake Forest Winter Wedding

I first heard from Eileen just three weeks ago, but when she started telling me about her and Tom and their fast approaching wedding I got so excited. Eileen and Tom had both been married for over 40 years, and had both lost spouses. But last year they found each other and fell in love!! Eileen says she fell in love first, but Tom wasn’t far behind and last September they got engaged. Their wedding was very small, just their kids, grandkids, and a couple close friends, but there’s nothing more special than being surrounded by the most important people in your life on your wedding day. There is no better word for the whole day than sweet. Tom and Eileen are SO sweet together and their family was so clearly excited for them. =)

It was chilly on Saturday to say the least, but everyone did such a great job with the outdoor photos, including the kids, and I LOVE the in between photos of Tom and Eileen with their grandkids while we were all getting warm. After that we headed over to Vinnie’s Steakhouse in Raleigh for the reception. I’d never been there before, but their private room was perfect for the occasion. Congratulations Eileen and Tom, and I hope you have a fabulous time on your honeymoon!!!
