Congratulations to another Carolina grad! Derek is headed up to Columbia this fall to start a PhD in economics. That means 6 more years of school, and in Manhattan no less. Stephen and I just got back from a vacation in NYC. It was awesome, but let me tell you, there were many times when this introvert got pretty overwhelmed by the big city. I couldn’t live there, but I am so excited for Derek and this amazing opportunity. Congratulations, Derek and good luck in the big apple!
