Guys. My little brother has a girlfriend. And they’ve been dating for several months now. But he lives in Texas, so I didn’t know when our family would get to meet her. And then my mom did something crazy. She invited Mykayla on our family vacation to our tiny (maaaybe 300 square feet?), rustic (it has an outhouse) cabin in Michigan. This sweet (and maybe slightly crazy) southern girl who had never been north of the Mason-Dixon line or met ANY of us before said yes. And you know what? She fit right in. It was a delight to get to know her and to see her and Evan together. Apparently my brother is quite the romantic. Who knew? It was sweet to see him take care of her and watch her try new thing after new thing. We had a great week!! I don’t know if they actually had fun taking pictures or they just said yes to be nice, but I had fun taking pictures of them, and I hope somehow I can see them again soon. Miss you guys already!! Also, in case you didn’t already know, my brother is a complete goof.
