Lake Charles Family Photography | Fall 2020 Mini Sessions

It has been a crazy month. After a crazy year. It’s hard to believe everything that’s happened, but the cleanup still to be done reminds us. But there are things to celebrate this year too. Growing families. Children taking their first steps. Best friends pledging to spend the rest of their lives together. I thought about skipping mini sessions this year with everything going on, but the more I think about it, the more I feel like we especially need them right now. So we can celebrate and be thankful for the good things. Our families. Our children. I would love to capture you you and your people this year!

The challenge for me was thinking of a beautiful place to do these sessions. So many of our beautiful places were hit hard by Laura and then again by Delta. I chose Walnut Grove in Lake Charles on the recommendation of a photographer friend of mine, and I’m really excited! Celebrating the beauty that we do have reminds me of the phrase “Louisiana Strong.”
