What a sweet, sweet day. Lauren and Kyle love God and each other and their families so much it was like their wedding day was overflowing with it. There was so much joy it was contagious. I think I smiled the whole time I was going through the photos this week!

Lauren knew my husband Stephen pretty well when we were all in college. They attended the same church and Lauren helped out a ton with the youth group when Stephen was the youth director. She is thoughtful and kind, and I’m so glad she wanted me to photograph her wedding day!  I didn’t meet Kyle until the day of the wedding, but it is clear he absolutely adores his wife. His smile and laugh are contagious and the love he has for Lauren is sweet and deep.

We started the day at one of Lauren’s friend’s houses near the church where the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready. Was that cute little house not the perfect location for bridesmaids portraits! I loved it!! Also, I can’t believe Lauren’s family (particularly her dad), made all those bouquets themselves. They were gorgeous!! I then moved to the church for groomsmen portraits and the ceremony. After the ceremony we did more portraits on the church property including some couple portraits. Have you ever seen a downtown church with such beautiful grounds before?? I couldn’t believe those flowers when I saw them. We knew we were going to do more couple portraits at the country club, so it wasn’t long before we headed that way. The celebration was perfect in every way. The weather was perfect so guests enjoyed taking their drinks outside for walk on the golf course; the food was delicious; the music was so fun. What a great end to a great day. Congratulations Lauren and Kyle!!
